瞬間移動戦術が特徴の新作マルチプレイFPS「Splitgate 2」，5月22日からのオープンβテストでマップクリエイターを利用可能に

　1047 Gamesは本日（2025年5月15日），5月22日より実施を予定している新作マルチプレイFPS「Splitgate 2」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One）のオープンベータテストで，マップクリエイターが利用できることを明らかにした。


　本作は，Steamレビューが「非常に好評」となるなど，高い評価を受けた「Splitgate」の続編となる作品で，ワープホールを作り出す「ポータルガン」を駆使した4vs.4でのチーム戦が繰り広げられる。

　遠距離で撃ち合っている相手の背後に瞬間移動……といった戦術が取れるため，ワープホールを作れる「ポータルウォール」の配置など，マップの構造はかなり重要だ。


　そのため，マップクリエイターは前作でも人気のコンテンツだったが，登場のタイミングはリリースから3年が経とうとする時期だった。今回はオープンベータから利用できるということで，正式リリス前からかなりの盛り上がりとなりそうだ。

　トレイラーには，実際にこの機能で作成されたマップが紹介されているので，その様子を確認しつつ，オープンベータテストに備えてほしい。
