ATARI，「ダンジョンズ＆ドラゴンズ」のライセンス作品となるアクションRPG「Dungeons ＆ Dragons: Daggerdale」を発表

　ATARIは，「ダンジョンズ＆ドラゴンズ」のライセンス作品となるアクションRPG「Dungeons ＆ Dragons: Daggerdale」を発表した。本作は，ダウンロード販売専用のアクションRPGで，発売時期は2011年春を予定している。プラットフォームはPC，PlayStation 3およびXbox 360だ。


　Dungeons ＆ Dragons: Daggerdaleは“ハック＆スラッシュ”型の，高いアクション性を持ったRPGとなっている。プレイヤーは，職業を選び，アイテムを集め，経験を得て，特技を増やすことで，自キャラクターを成長/強化させていくことが可能。ソロプレイのほか，最大4人のプレイヤーがキャンペーンを協力して進めていく，Co-opタイプのマルチプレイにも対応している。


　本作では，Dalelandに秩序をもたらすため，Techyamar鉱山への潜入を決意したヒーロー達のストーリーが語られる。キャンペーンセッティングとしては，おなじみの“Forgotten Realms”が採用されており，ゲームシステムは公式ルール第4版を意識したものとなっている。

　現在公式サイトでは，ゲームプレイの様子が分かるムービーも公開されているので，興味がある人は観てみよう。どうやら本作は，大量の敵をざくざくと倒していく爽快感が気持ちいい作品となっているようだ。
