「アストロボット」はベストゲーム賞を含む5冠を達成。英国映画テレビ芸術アカデミー主催「BAFTA Games Awards 2025」発表

　英国映画テレビ芸術アカデミー（BAFTA）が主催する「BAFTA Games Awards 2025」の授賞式が本日（2025年4月9日）実施された。ベストゲーム賞に輝いたのはソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントが2024年9月6日に発売した「アストロボット」だ。同作は，ほかにもアニメーション賞（Animation）や音響功績賞（Audio Achievement），ファミリーゲーム賞（Family），ゲームデザイン賞（Game Design）を受賞し，5冠を達成した。

　アストロボットは，PS5の機能を活かしたさまざまな仕掛けや，PlayStation歴代タイトルのキャラクターをモチーフにしたキャラクターたちが大集合した3Dアクションゲームだ。昨年は権威あるゲームアワード「The Game Awards 2024」の最優秀賞となる「GAMES OF THE YEAR」をはじめ，多くの賞を獲得した。

2024年の“GAMES OF THE YEAR”は「アストロボット」が受賞。The Game Awards 2024の各受賞作品が発表に

　本日，その年の優れたゲームが表彰されるイベント「The Game Awards 2024」が開催された。各賞の候補に，「黒神話：悟空」や「ELDEN RING SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE」などの人気タイトルが並ぶ中，“GAMES OF THE YEAR”には「アストロボット」が選ばれた。

　米国時間の2月13日に開催されたD.I.C.E. Awards授賞式で，ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントのゲーム開発スタジオ・Team ASOBIによる「ASTRO BOT」がGame of the Yearを獲得した。Outstanding Achievement in Game Designをはじめとする各部門でも受賞し，5冠を達成している。

「PlayStation.Blog ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー 2024」，「アストロボット」が5部門でプラチナトロフィーを受賞

　ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは，世界中のPS Blog読者が選んだ2024年のベストゲーム「PlayStation.Blog ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤー 2024」を発表した。今年は160万票以上が集計され，全19部門の中からプレイヤーの投票によって選ばれた受賞タイトルが発表されている。このうち，5部門で「アストロボット」がプラチナトロフィーを受賞した。

　そのほかの受賞作を一部紹介すると，マルチプレイヤー賞（Multiplayer）と音楽賞（Music）を「HELLDIVERS 2」が獲得したほか，ナラティブ賞（Narrative）はアトラスの「メタファー：リファンタジオ」，デビュー賞（Debut Game）は「GDC Awards 2025」で「Game of the Year」を獲得したインディーゲーム「Balatro」が獲得した。
