　本日（2025年2月13日）配信が行われたState of Playにて，「ボーダーランズ4」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）の最新トレイラーが公開された。合わせて，本作の発売が2025年9月23日に決定したことが明らかとなっている。

　本作は，世界累計8700万本以上のセールスを記録した人気シリーズの最新作だ。ナンバリングでは6年ぶりの新作であり，新たな冒険の舞台・惑星カイロスでの4人のヴォルトハンターの活躍が描かれるという。
　なおゲームプレイの全貌は，2025年春の後半に配信されるState of Playでお披露目予定とのこと。こちらも期待しておこう。
