9月5日の発売が迫る新作サバイバルホラー「Cronos: The New Dawn」のローンチトレイラー公開

　Bloober Teamは2025年9月3日，同社が開発する新作「Cronos: The New Dawn」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch 2）のローンチトレイラーを公開した。


　日本では9月5日にリリース予定となっている本作は，主人公が荒廃した未来の世界と1980年代のポーランドを行き来して，世界の破滅を回避しようとする姿を描くサバイバルホラー。大きな特徴としては，過去の人物の「エッセンス」を抽出して，未来に同行させるシステムが挙げられる。


　また，主人公の前には触手のようなものを持った怪物が立ちはだかるが，この怪物は“融合”することでさらにパワーアップするため，それをさせないことがゲームを進めるうえで重要となるようだ。

　トレイラーでは，そんな怪物たちとの戦いが収録されているほか，「任務を継続しなければならない」などといった，主人公のものと思われるボイスを確認できる。だが，一方で「彼のミッション」「私の覚醒」といった発言もあり，どういった状況での発言なのか，今ひとつ把握しづらい。

　エッセンスを集めすぎると，耳元でささやき声が聞こえたり，視界がちらついたりといった悪影響があるようなので，もしかしたらこの音声は，他人のエッセンスによって自我を保てなくなりつつある主人公（あるいはエッセンスを抽出された人物）のものかもしれない。
