「RUINER」のスタジオが手掛ける新作アクションFPS「METAL EDEN」，日本時間の9月3日にPC/コンソール向けに発売決定

　Reikon Gamesは本日（2025年8月7日），開発中の新作タイトル「METAL EDEN」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）の最新トレイラーを公開するとともに，発売日が日本時間の9月3日に決定したことを明かした。


　本作は，見下ろし型視点のアクションシューティング「RUINER」を開発した，Reikon Gamesが手掛ける新作タイトルだ。最新鋭の戦闘用アンドロイド「ハイパーユニット」である「アスカ」を主人公に，かつて人類の新天地として期待を寄せられつつ，現在は危険な死地と化してしまった巨大都市「メビウス」から，住人たちのコアを救出するハイスピードアクションFPSだ。


　プレイヤーは，メビウスを守るさまざまな種類の屈強かつ俊敏な機械化兵たちとサイバネバトルを繰り広げ，謎に包まれた「エンジニア」たちの計画「プロジェクト・エデン」の謎を解き明かすことになるという。

　アスカは，ダッシュやウォールランといったパルクールスキルを使いこなすほか，装甲に包まれた球体に変形した突撃したり，グラビティフックとジェットパックを駆使した空中戦も繰り広げられる。


　トレイラーでは，さまざまな装備を駆使しながら，次々と機械化兵たちをなぎ倒す戦闘シーンを確認できる。序盤のミッションをプレイできる体験版も配信されているので，リリースが待ち切れない人は，そちらを遊んでみるのもいいだろう。
