テディベアの視界を借り，盲目の少女を操作するホラーパズルADV「Out of Sight」，5月22日にリリース

　Starbreeze Entertainmentは，スウェーデンのゲーム開発スタジオThe Gangが開発する「Out of Sight」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch）を2025年5月22日に発売する。また，VR対応の「Out of Sight VR」PC版も同日に発売予定で，後日，Meta Quest / PlayStation VR2版も配信される予定だ。


　本作は，一人称視点と二人称視点を切り替えながら操作する，日本語対応のホラーアドベンチャーゲームだ。盲目の少女・ソフィーと相棒のテディベアの視界を駆使してパズルを解いていく。


　ソフィーはテディベアの視界を借りることで，周囲の状況が確認可能。プレイヤーはソフィーを操作し，カメラの役目を果たすテディを置いたり，持ち運んだりして困難を乗り越えていく。ただし，Steamの説明文では「見たものをすべて信じてはいけない」と記されており，視界に映ったものすべてが真実ではない可能性もあるようだ。


　また，舞台となる屋敷には，ソフィーを狙う捕獲者たちが徘徊している。きしむ床を踏む，何かにぶつかるなど，たった一歩の踏み間違えが原因で捕まってしまう。うまく捕獲者たちを避け，ソフィーがなぜ屋敷に囚われてしまったのかを解き明かしていこう。
　
　なお，本作はSteamでデモ版を配信している。こちらは日本語に対応していないが，気になる人はチェックしてみてほしい。
